Hopi candles are long, hollow columns of flax steeped in a blend of beeswax, honey and herbs. One end of the column fits snugly into the ear and the other end is lit.

The burning of the 'candle' creates a gentle suction that draws impurities out of the ear, whilst the movement of the flame and the warmed air inside the column have a soothing massage-like effect on the eardrum.

These combined actions help to unblock and balance the pressure in the ears, head and sinuses and encourage harmony between the left and right sides of the brain. The heat also stimulates lymphatic action and removal of toxins around the face, head and neck.

Each treatment is enhanced by Reiki healing and completed with a facial pressure-point massage that focuses around the sinuses and lymphatic areas of the face and neck.
